Clone to new trip

An existing trip can be used as the basis for making a new trip based on it. This might be handy if you have a trip and want to try out a major variation before deciding which is the better way to go.  However, if the trip has Ended the command is under the Clone/copy menu and is how you can “resurrect” an ended trip into a new active one. If all you want is the waypoints from the ended trip, the Copy waypoints menu will let you select the ones you want and put them into a different trip.
